Amaltas Tapas and Bar
This Bar and Restaurant presenting a complex menu of modern and Indian flavours was housed in a space defined by two colours on its walls, typical of traditional Indian havelis while the large Glass doors and windows with metal grill work were adaptations on a more British style. Its use of tile mosaic on the Bar front contrasted with curved wood over counter shelves for bottles above is also reflective of this coming together of styles. The flowing false ceiling in a subtle gradient of colours once again floats effortlessly over traditional wood and rattan chairs upholstered in vibrant colours of a more Boho genre.
