Cafe Lota
This F&B classic of the contemporary cultural scene of Delhi needed to be handled very subtly so as not to disturb it's iconic presence within the imagination of its patrons. The use of subtle materials terracotta jalis and roof tiles created the demarcation of spaces. New service areas and an open rear entrance access created new avenues for access while retaining the original character of the space defined by the black metal columns and stone walls. Even the display cases added to the space were in clear glass so as to fit seamlessly into the existing palette.
